On February 28, 2014 Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order against Steeler, Inc. (ÂRespondentÂ) for alleged violations of the CWA by its Seattle, Washington Facility (ÂFacilityÂ). The Facility is covered by the Washington State NPDES Industrial Stormwater General Permit. Alleged CWA violations include failure to develop a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, failure to sample stormwater discharges, failure to conduct visual inspections, and failure to implement Best Management Practices. Respondent has agreed to pay a penalty of $40,000.
