On January 3, 2014, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order resolving violations of the Clean Water Act by Essential Oil Research Farm, LLC (d/b/a Young Living Lavender Farms). Respondent, which processes oils from lavender, discharged pollutants to waters of the U.S. without a permit or authorization under NPDES. The company agreed to pay a penalty of $30,000.
