On February 5, 2014, EPA Region 10 settled with J.R. Simplot Company for violations of FIFRA. In 2012 and 2013, J.R. Simplot Company produced pesticides at its facility in Orange Cove, California, without first registering the facility with EPA as a pesticide-producing establishment. The company agreed to pay a penalty of $15,440.
