On March 7, 2014, Region 10 settled with NuFarm Americas, Inc. (NuFarm) for importing/distributing misbranded pesticides in violation of FIFRA. NuFarm has repeatedly imported pesticides illegally into various U.S. ports, including five separate shipments into Region 10 since April 2013. The company agreed to pay a penalty of $36,800.
