On June 2, 2014, the EPA finalized an administrative order on consent (AOC) with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), requiring the cleanup of petroleum released into soil from leaking underground storage tanks at the former Signal Peak Ranger Station on the Yakama Indian Reservation in Eastern Washington. The AOC requires BIA to submit a site assessment plan for EPA approval within 75 days and a corrective action plan for EPA approval upon completion of the site investigation report.
