The Defendants violated the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule requirements by failing to: (1) have firm certification; (2) assign a certified renovator to the work site; (3) provide the lead hazard information pamphlet; (4) post warning signs; (5) contain the work area by closing windows and doors; (6) cover the floor surface; (7) contain waste from renovation; (8) perform post-renovation clean up; and (9) maintain and produce records.
Per the Order, entered on February 23, 2022, Defendants have to notify EPA if they return to do any regulated work within the next five years.
