EPA issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) to resolve a Finding of Violation (FOV) issued September 28, 2012 to Perlick Corporation (Perlick) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. EPAÂs FOV alleged that Perlick failed to keep records of the addition of wetting agent and report use of a wetting agent/fume suppressant in its annual compliance certifications for 2011 and 2012 as required by 40 C.F.R. Part 63, Subpart WWWWWW, the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPs): Area Source Standards for Plating and Polishing Operations at 40 C.F.R. §§ 63.11504 through 63.11512. The CAFO resolves PerlickÂs violations and requires Perlick to pay a $30,000 civil penalty. Perlick has corrected the violations and is in compliance.
