The Bowers Battery site is involved in the Exide Technologies global Bankruptcy settlement seeking the recovery of response costs.
Update, 12/21/17 - per conversation with the attorney, this settlement is no longer valid. All response costs with this site appear to have been addressed in a 2011 consent decree.
