On September 10, 2014, Region 10 issued a compliance order on consent addressing violations of the Clean Water Act by Sawdust Supply Company, Inc. Respondent, which operates a wood product supply company, discharged pollutants to waters of the U.S. in violation of the Washington State NPDES Industrial Stormwater General Permit, including failures to sample, failure to conduct self inspections, failure to have a complete stormwater pollution prevention plan and failure to implement a required best management practice. The compliance order requires the respondent to comply with these requirements.
