On August 1, 2014, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order resolving violations of the Clean Water Act by Master Precaster, Inc. and Northwest Precast, LLC. (Respondents). Respondents manufacture precast concrete products and discharged pollutants to waters of the U.S. in violation of the Washington State NPDES Industrial Stormwater General Permit. Violations include failures to sample, conduct self inspections, implement the stormwater pollution prevention plan and implement a required best management practice. The company agreed to pay a penalty of $25,600.
