On December 2, 2013, the United States Environmental Protection Agency emailed a letter of inquiry to the Respondent to determine regulatory compliance regarding the filing of Toxic Chemical Release Inventory (TRI) Form A or Form R reports under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA). In response to the inquiry, the company provided information indicating that a Form R report should have been filed for lead compounds for calendar year 2012. The Form R report was postmarked December 31, 2013. The report was 183 days late. The company agreed to a settlement of $16,300.
