On September 23, 2014, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order against MurreyÂs Disposal Company, Inc. (ÂRespondentÂ) for alleged violations of the Clean Water Act (CWA) at its Fife, Washington Facility (ÂFacilityÂ). The Facility is covered by the Washington State NPDES Industrial Stormwater General Permit. Alleged CWA violations include failure to maintain inspection records, failure to sample stormwater discharges, and failure to implement Best Management Practices. Respondent has agreed to pay a penalty of $31,400.
