On May 02, .2014, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 1414(g) and 1445 of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to CertainTeed Corporation (Respondent) for violations at the CertainTeed water system , located in Sulphur, LA. The AO was issued in response to violations of the Ground Water Rule treatment technique requirements. The AO requires Respondent to correct the significant deficiencies cited during a sanitary survey. Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6 upon receipt of the AO.
