On September 9, 2014, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order resolving violations of Section 311(j) of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. §1321(j) and accompanying Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) and Facility Response Plan (FRP) regulations, 40 C.F.R. Part 112 by NANA Oilfield Services, Inc. The violations were observed during an August 2012 inspection of the companyÂs oil storage and distribution facility in Deadhorse, Alaska, and included failure to prepare and implement an adequate FRP Plan for the facility and training. The company agreed to pay a penalty of $37,500.
