On August 7, 2014, Region 9 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order (�CAFO�) that initiated and resolved its case against WalkFit, LLC, WalkFit Platinum, LLC and Ideal Products, LLC for violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) resulting from their sales of an unregistered shoe orthotic containing claims that it was �antibacterial�, �antifungal� and �killed germs�. Under the terms of the CAFO, the companies must pay a total penalty of $207,234 over a three-year period.
