On December 2, 2013, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) emailed a letter of inquiry to the company to determine regulatory compliance regarding the filing of Toxic Chemical Release Inventory (TRI) Form A or Form R reports under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA). These reports are due July 1 of each year for each listed TRI chemical that exceeds the manufactured, processed or otherwise used threshold. In response to the inquiry, the company provided information indicating that a Form R report should have been filed for lead for calendar year 2012. The Form R report was certified December 5, 2013. The final penalty is $21,675.
