On September 30, 2014, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order with Jerome Cheese Company for violations of CAA Section 112(r) risk management program requirements the company�s cheese manufacturing facility in Jerome, Idaho. Region 10 alleged that Jerome Cheese failed to comply with several risk management program requirements related to its use of anhydrous ammonia. The violations have been corrected and the company agreed to pay a penalty of $88,000.
