On August 29, 2014, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order with Washington Crab Producers, Inc. in Westport, Washington that resolves violations of the hazardous substances reporting requirements of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA). Respondent failed to file an annual Tier II chemical inventory report for stored anhydrous ammonia and nitrogen during calendar year 2012. The company agreed to pay a $16,551 penalty. In addition, the company agreed to fund a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) that provided a thermal imaging camera and accessories to the Westport Fire Department.
