On April 1, 2015, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order with Aurora Communications International Inc. to address Clean Water Act violations near Ninilchik, Alaska. Respondent violated the CWA Section 404 by discharging an unspecified quantity of dredged and/or fill material into approximately 0.55 acres of wetlands for the construction of a gravel access road and a foundation pad for the installation of a shortwave radio antenna tower without a Department of the Army CWA Section 404 permit. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $30,000.
