EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309(a) of the Clean Water Act to the Village of Sicily Island (Respondent), located in Sicily Island, LA. The AO was issued in response to violations of their National Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit. The AO requires Respondent to comply with the effluent limitation provisions of the permit. Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of the effective date of the Order.
