On April 15, 2015, Alyeska TAPS Valdez Marine Terminal entered into a consent agreement with EPA under the RCRA Expedited Settlement Agreement program. They agreed to pay a penalty of $6,000 and take steps to assure compliance with RCRA requirements for container management for hazardous waste, shipment of hazardous waste, and universal waste lamps and batteries.
