On March 4, 2015, Region 10 entered an Expedited Settlement Agreement in connection with Gravity Consulting LLC's spill case. This enforcement action resulted when Gravity's 32-foot research vessel Tieton sank on August 12, 2014 and discharged up to 45-gallons of oil into Multnomah Channel adjacent to Willamette and Columbia Rivers. The terms of the settlement require Gravity to pay a penalty of $500.
