This is an Administrative Order on Consent between US EPA and the White Mountain Apache Tribe (the Tribe) and Sunrise Park Resort (Sunrise) for alleged violations of the Clean Water Act National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations. Under this Consent Order, the Tribe and Sunrise agree to undertake specified measures to comply with the NPDES Permit at the Cyclone Day Lodge Wastewater Treatment Facility, cease unauthorized discharges in violation of the Permit, and implement the requirements of this Consent Order to prevent additional violations.
