This is an Administrative Order on Consent between US EPA and the White Mountain Apache Tribal Utility Authority (TUA) and White Mountain Apache Tribe (the Tribe) for alleged violations of the Clean Water Act National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations. Under this Consent Order, the Tribe and TUA agree to undertake specified measures to comply with the NPDES permit for the Hon-Dah Wastewater Treatment Facility, cease unauthorized discharges in violation of the Permit, and implement the requirements described in this Consent Order to prevent additional violations.
