On May 8, 2015, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order resolving violations of the Clean Water Act by Western Peterbilt, LLC in Seattle, Washington. Respondent, which operates a truck repair shop, discharged industrial wastewater pollutants to waters of the U.S. without a permit or authorization under NPDES. Seattle Public Utilities worked with the company to eliminate the illicit discharge pipes that were connected to the city's stormwater conveyance system. The company agreed to pay a $129,000 federal penalty.
