On July 1, 2015, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement to resolve Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans violations at Petro Marine Services' Wrangell Bulk Plant in Wrangell, Alaska, observed during a September 25, 2014 inspection. Deficiencies observed included lack of some elements in the Facility's SPCC Plan certification, lack of evidence of a 5 year review, lack of physical system to prevent vehicular departure before complete disconnect from transfer lines, and failure to subject above-ground tank(s) to periodic integrity testing. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $1,225 and correct the violations within 90 days.
