On March 27, 2015, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order that resolves violation of EPCRA 313 by Pexco, LLC at their facility in Tacoma, Washington. The EPA alleged that Pexco LLC filed to file Toxic Release Inventory reports regarding the processing of DI-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate over three years. By failing to report, the public was denied access to timely and accurate data regarding chemical releases in the community. The company agreed to pay a $50,600 penalty and has returned to compliance.
