On Feburary 4, 2015, EPA issued a Stop,Sale, Use or Removal Order (SSIRO) against Traveler's Supply Inc. for FIFRA violations related to the sale and/or distribution of misbranded pesticide products. Traveler's owns and/or operates an establishment in West Springfield, Massachusetts where it produces registered pesticide products. The products subject to the SSURO are ULTRATHON Insect Repellent and DURATION Clothing and Bed Net Insect Repellent which are pesticides. The SSURO is intended to ensure compliance with FIFRA by preventing the distribution or sale of misbranded pesticides helps ensure that end users and members of the public have a product with proper labeling to insure proper use.
