A voluntary self-disclosure regarding a data quality violation was submitted to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on December 1, 2014, pursuant to EPA?s Incentives for Self-Policing: Discovery, Disclosure, Correction and Prevention of Violations, 65 FR 19618,April 11, 2000, effective May 11, 2000 (Audit Policy). The disclosure indicated that the company had incorrectly reported nitrate compounds transferred off-site on the calendar year 2013 Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Form R report. Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act requires timely and correct TRI Form R reports. The required revised TRI Form R report was submitted January 12, 2015. The proposed $4,250 penalty was mitigated by 100% under the Audit Policy. An NOD was issued April 15, 2015.
