This CAFO (along with the simultaneous issuance of an ACO) resolves alleged violations identified in a NOV/FOV issued to BCM August 07, 2014. The alleged violations include violations of 40 C.F.R. Part 60, Subpart A, General Provisions; 40 C.F.R. Part 60, Subpart OOO, Standards of Performance for Nonmetallic Mineral Processing Plants; Title V; and the IL SIP. The CAFO seeks payment by BCM of a cash penalty of $40,329 along with implementation of an environmentally beneficial supplemental environmental project costing at least $165,098.
