On April 27, 2015, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under Section 112(r)(7) of the Clean Air Act and 40 C.F.R. Part 68-Chemical Accident Prevention Provisions. The CAFO requires Dow Chemical Company to pay an administrative penalty of $32,500. Dow Chemical Company will have thirty (30) days from the effective date of the CAFO to pay the civil penalty.
