On February 26, 2015, Region 10 finalized a unilateral administrative order to the U.S. Navy pursuant to Section 7003 of RCRA to address conditions that present an imminent and substantial danger to public health or the environment at the Gorst Creek/Bremerton Auto-Wrecking Landfill in Gorst, Washington. Since this time, EPA and the Navy have been negotiating a resolution of the order that will provide for response action at the site.
