EPA executes Administrative Compliance Order to Diversified Machine Montague, Inc, Montague, Michigan: EPA is executing an Administrative Compliance Order (ACO) under the Clean Air Act to Diversified Machine Montague, Inc (DMI) for violating the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Secondary Aluminum Production (NESHAP Subpart RRR) and its permits. The ACO requires DMI to install new temperature monitoring controls on each furnace controlling emissions from the chip dryer, install new monitoring controls on a packed bed scrubber controlling emissions from core making operations, conduct dioxin furan emission testing at each furnace, and take immediate corrective action when the control devices deviate from normal operating range.
