The Respondent operates a CAFO in Ozone Park, New York that is not complying with the terms and conditions of the NYSDEC CAFO General Permit. EPA identified discharges from a floor drain in the garage where vehicles are washed and maintained and process wastewater, including horse wash water potentially containing manure, detergent, feed and bedding to Jamaica Bay via the NYC Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System, in violation of the CAFO General Permit. An Administrative Order is being issued to order the Respondent to comply with permit conditions and eliminate the unauthorized discharges.
