The EPA sent an email inquiry to the Respondent on December 22, 2014, regarding its apparent failure to submit Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Form R reports for nitric acid and nitrate compounds for calendar year 2013. Subsequent to the email inquiry, it was determined the Respondent submitted the required TRI Form R reports on January 30, 2015. The reports were due July 1, 2014. They were 214 days late. The final penalty was $29,290.
