On 2016 EPA Region 6 issued a draft Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Sinclair Operating Company, LLC (Respondent) located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 17 South, Range 14 West, Union County, Arkansas. The CAFO was issued to settle an Administrative Order and Complaint for an unauthorized produced water discharge. The CAFO requires Respondent to pay a penalty. Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of receipt of the CAFO. .
