This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CA/FO)between the U.S. EPA and respondents, Heavenly Hana, LLC and Hana Town Center, LLC ( Respondents ), for alleged violations of the Safe Drinking Water Act regulations concerning Underground Injection Control Wells. Respondents' alleged violations are for failure to close 14 large capacity cesspools located at the Travaasa Hotel Hana Resort in Hana, Maui, Hawaii. Respondents consent to this CA/FO, including compliance by closure of all 14 cesspools and the assessment and payment of the administrative civil penalty of $187,500 to settle this action.
