EPA alleged violations of the requirements of the Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule, promulgated pursuant to Section 402(c)(3) of the Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act of 1992. Whitney Management and Maintenance Company is a property management company located in Connecticut. The four alleged violations stemmed from an Inspection conducted in June of 2014 and pertained to a renovation project performed in 2014 in East Haven, Connecticut. The alleged violations included performing renovations without obtaining proper RRP firm certification, without using RRP-certified workers, without providing lead hazard information to the owner, and without retaining records demonstrating compliance with the RRP Rule.
