A voluntary self-disclosure regarding the above-listed facility was submitted to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on July 13, 2015, pursuant to EPA?s Incentives for Self-Policing: Discovery, Disclosure, Correction and Prevention of Violations, 65 FR 19618, April 11, 2000, effective May 11, 2000 (Audit Policy). The disclosure indicated that the company had not filed timely Toxic Release Inventory Form R reports for n-methyl-2-pyrolidone for calendar years 2012 and 2013. Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know
Act requires timely and correct TRI Form R reports. The required revised TRI Form R reports were submitted July 24, 2015. The facility met the nine conditions of the Aufit Policy; therefore; EPA granted 100% mitigation of the proposed $48,200. penalty.
