This CAFO resolves an administrative enforcement action against the Respondent and settles a PSD violation. Injunctive relief includes installation of a selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) system to control NOx emissions from Kiln No. 6 at the facility and establishing a federally enforceable emission limit of 2.3 lbs/ton of clinker produced to be calculated on a 30-day rolling average basis. The Respondent will also pay a penalty of $ 160,000.
