On January 8, 2016, Region 10 entered into an expedited settlement agreement with ConocoPhillips Alaska to address RCRA violations at its Kuparuk facility near Deadhorse, Alaska. The violations included failure to properly manage containers of hazardous waste and failure to conduct weekly inspections. Respondent certified that it has corrected the RCRA violations and agreed to pay a penalty of $4,000.
