On January 14, 2016, Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to Retro Rentals, LLC located in Eagle, Idaho for violations of the Toxics Substances Control Act Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule. EPA alleged that Retro Rentals, LLC did not comply with the RRP requirements by failing to follow lead-safe work practices and did not become a certified firm or renovator before offering to perform or performing renovation work on pre-1978 residential properties as required by the RRP. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $2,268.
