This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CA/FO) between U.S. EPA and Vacation Inns International, Inc. (Respondent) under the Safe Drinking Water Act Underground Injection Control regulations for Respondent's alleged violations regarding closure of Large Capacity Cesspools at its Backpackers Vacation Inn and Plantation Village properties in Haleiwa, Hawaii. Respondent agreed to pay an administrative civil penalty of $40,000 to settle the matter.
