OECEJ, with crucial legal assistance from ORC, reached a settlement this week with Brenntag Northeast (Brenntag) in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Brenntag is a large multi-national corporation that is the largest chemical distribution company in the world. The settlement is for RCRA-C and SPCC violations, and includes a cash penalty of $55,000. The settlement also includes the completion of a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) valued at approximately $30,000.
