## Summary

This case addresses violations of the Clean Air Act (CAA) by GXI Outdoor Power, LLC. ( GXI ), a power tool wholesaler located in Clayton, NC.  During February and March, 2013 GXI imported 480 uncertified gasoline powered generators into the ports of Long Beach California, and Norfolk, Virginia.  

As part of the settlement with EPA, GXI paid a $21,800 civil penalty and agreed to export some the generators outside of the United States, Mexico or Canada and to re-label the rest.
