On October 5, 2015, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 1412(g) and 1445 of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to Twin Forks Mutual Domestic Water Consumers Association (MDWCA) (Respondent), located in Otero County, New Mexico. The AO was issued for violation of the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) Rule and the Disinfection Byproduct Rule. The AO requires Respondent to issue past due CCRs within thirty days of the issuance of the Order, and respond to EPA Region 6 within forty days. It also requires Disinfection Byproduct sampling during the next compliance period.
