On February 4, 2016, Region 10 entered into an expedited settlement agreement with Petro Star Valdez Refinery in Valdez, Alaska, for failure to meet RCRA requirements for proper management and shipping of containers of hazardous waste. Respondent returned to compliance and agreed to pay a penalty of $5,000.
