On December 15, 2015, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 301 of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. ? 1311, to the City of Heath (Respondent) located in Heath, Texas. The AO was issued in response to unauthorized/ unpermitted discharge or sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) violations. The AO requires Respondent to 1) submit a list of specific actions taken to correct the violations; and 2) submit written certification to EPA that the violations have been corrected and the Respondent is in compliance. Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of the effective date of the AO.
