On September 8, 2016, Region 10 and Tesoro Refining & Marketing Company, LLC (Tesoro) entered into a Consent Agreement and Final Order to settle on CAA Section 112r risk management program (RMP) violations at the companys refinery in Anacortes, Washington. The alleged violations, include violations of the CAA Section 112r RMP requirements for Process Safety Information, Process Hazard Analysis, Operating Procedures, Mechanical Integrity, and Compliance Audits. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $325,000.
