On January 29, 2016, EPA Region 10 issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order to Amazon Services LLC, headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, to stop the further distribution or sale of six unregistered pesticides: HUA Highly Effective Cockroach Killing Bait Powder, R.B.T.Z. Highly Effective Cockroach Killing Bait Powder, Green Leaf Powder Fly Killing Bait, Abundant Living's Natural Diatomaceous Earth Powder, ARS Mat 12, and Rodent Defense. EPA issued the order because these products are not registered with EPA. Additionally, the R.B.T.Z. Highly Effective Cockroach Killing Bait Powder product is misbranded. Distributing or selling unregistered or misbranded pesticides is a violation of FIFRA.
